A little about the band…

Rocking in the Free World… Of Norfolk, U.K. For the last year or so, that’s exactly what Killing Floor have been doing, trying our hardest to spread the word of R&b, and Rock & Roll. Formed in Gorleston in June of 2015 we have spent our time building an exhaustive set of tunes, designed to get you out of your seat and onto your feet…

Within Two hours of four strangers meeting at the pub for jam, we had felt the potential and decided to make a go of it, similar tastes in beer just as important as our varied tastes in music. All bringing some new influence to the fold, we worked out a short set list and just a few short weeks later, Killing Floor played their first ever gig at a small private party to a very positive response. This finally cemented our decision to march on forward as a rock steady R&b outfit.

Since then Killing Floor have gone from strength to strength, and most importantly have plenty of fun and awful jokes along the way!

Many gigs, and many songs later, Killing Floor continues to march on forward and we are very excited to see what comes in the future…

And if we are going to get to see your dance moves, we had better introduce ourselves…

Lee Newbold – Trust me I’m a singer… I don’t know about that trust thing, but he sure can sing! And tell ‘jokes’. Lee has played with a number of local bands, run his own business and even braved the world of Karaoke! A favourite of audiences county wide, Lee always ensures there is never a dull moment at a Killing Floor show. Lee is also the organised member of the band and some might say, carer…

Andrew Love – Guitarist. Andy has been playing for around 17 years and some would say he owns too many guitars. Andy strongly argues that there is no such thing as too many guitars!! While technically the youngest member of KF, his attitude and miserable git status definitely suggests he’s the eldest. Also, there is no such thing as TOO Loud, don’t be silly!!

Steve Chapman-Drums & Backing Vocals.  Steve is an experienced rock drummer, having played locally over many years with some good local bands.  Steve is the power house behind the rhythm engine that drives us.  His professional attitude is having an effect already. He also hits those skins with some venom and snap.

Trev Brunwin (AKA Papa Bear) – Bass & Backing vox.  The other half of that engine is Papa Bear. He has been laying the groove and some funky bass lines for a damned long time, some (Lee) says its been since 1853, but really it’s around 46 years now. A native Londoner, Trev cut his teeth on the London scene in the early 70’s, through to the Pub Rock explosion in the late 70’s, the same circuit as the legendary Dr. Feelgood and brings that experience to the band. While Trev might be the oldest member, he’s the first to admit he’s NOT the most mature…
